Through these talks, we hope to raise public awareness about the diverse modes of psychological intervention that traditional sources offer beyond those in professional practice.

Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a widely popular technique of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is based on a theory that the body operates via an intricate network of energy channels called meridians. TCM recognizes an intimate connection between emotional states and physiology, which makes Acupuncture a viable method of psychological intervention.

About the scholar
Dr. V. Rukmini is an M.D. in Acupuncture with a successful practice in Koramangala, Bangalore since 2018. She skilfully blends Naturopathy, Magnetotherapy and Acupuncture. She will give an overview of the scientific underpinnings of Acupuncture and its effect on Mental Health.
